The CSW-71D is a high-voltage, water-cooled helium compressor used to supply high-pressure helium gas to the MRI system’s cold head. Its primary function is to maintain the cryogenic temperatures required for the superconducting magnet in an MRI scanner. The unit includes a compressor capsule, a cooling system, an oil separation and injection system, and an adsorber.
