The GE Patient Handling Power Supply (PHPS) Compatible with Halogen Lights
The PHPS (Patient Handling Power Supply) is a Field Replaceable Unit (FRU) for GE MRI systems. This specific model, with part number 5215012-2, is designed to be compatible with halogen-style patient alignment lights. It provides switched and non-switched DC power, as well as switched AC power, to various components within the magnet room. These components include the Scan Room Interface (SRI-3), Physiological Acquisition Controller (PAC), bore light, Patient Alignment Lights (PAL), and the motors for patient table movement (vertical and longitudinal). The PHPS also powers the Patient Comfort Module. The unit has multiple outputs, is controlled by a CAN (Controller Area Network), and features inbuilt cooling.
